FAQ
How do I install the overlay?
Unzip the downloaded file, run the provided executable, done. The first time you run the app it'll create a .config file storing settings such as window location. All these settings are modifiable within the app in the settings screen.
Can I use this with other overlays?
Yes that's exactly how I use it. BB's League Overlay is designed to complement other overlays.
Does this support being in multiple leagues?
Yes, go to the settings in the app and create a new driver division color config file for each league race that has multiple divisions. Then load the correct one anytime you join a league session.
How do I set driver colors?
Right-click on the driver name and a context menu will popup. Same as if you put someone in the wrong division, simply right-click and change them.
What if my league doesn't use all the divisions listed in the app?
No big deal, just use the ones you need.
I only want to see drivers within my division.
Yes me too! Once you are loaded into your session and the standings start populating, simply click the "All Divisions" button at the top to change it.
Multiple drivers in my league use this overlay. Can we share driver divison config files?
Absolutely! There's no built-in way to do this (yet?) but I do the same for drivers in my leagues. I simply send them the config I've already built, they drop it in the folder with the exe and load it up!
I'm an announcer and it's hard for me to keep track of who's leading each division. Can this help me?
I sure hope so! In the gap column you will see "Leader" listed for each division. Also, clicking the "All Divisons" button will cycle through the drivers for each specific division.
I don't see drivers in other classes when in multi-class races?
Correct, for now at least you won't because I built this specifically to show drivers in your class only (including for spectators, you have to choose the car class you want to see). Remember, this is all about league racing and who is in your division - who you are "actually" racing against. Most other info can be found in other overlays.
How accurate is the gap calculation?
It's fairly accurate, basically good enough to give a general idea but I'm continuing to refine this part.
Which driver is it calculating the gap based on?
It's Div Gap for a reason. It shows the gap to the next car in your division, not necessarily the driver directly in front of you in the overall standings.
Why are there two Position columns?
Pos is the overall position in the race, while D-Pos is position within division.
How do I report bugs?
What bugs?? Seriously though just message me on Discord for now.
And while not frequently asked, this overlay comes with no warranties of any kind. It's free. :)
